PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase persons who make reservations while suppressing the cost low for a service provider of a hotel, etc. SOLUTION: This service reservation system has client terminals 2 which are placed at facilities such as hotels run by respective enterprises and a web server 4 to which the client terminals 2 are connected through a communication line such as the Internet 3. Then this system is provided with a service selection database which enables service receivers who desire to have service of lodging reservation, etc., to apply for the service by accessing the web server 4 from their terminals 14 and 15, etc., receives data updating contents for service sent from a client terminal 2, and displays the received contents in a homepage and a database for points which give service receivers. The points represent prices of selected service respectively and are usable even by persons other than the service provider. The points are usable as fare paid to the service in the facilities or part of it.
