PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system capable of reducing the peak of working load and electricity rate by making effective use of midnight power. SOLUTION: This power supply system comprises a rectifying circuit 3 of rectifying electric power 25 by time zone, a storage battery 11 of charging the electric power 25 by time zone, and an inverter 5 of DC-DC converting DC power from the rectifying circuit 3 within a time zone where electricity rate is low to supply it to the storage battery 11, and DC-AC converting DC power from the storage battery 11 within a time zone where electricity rate is high to supply it to general load groups 5-1 to 5-n.
