PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste-form nickel electrode of superior rate of utilization. SOLUTION: The method for production of nickel paste electrode includes filling a paste containing nickel hydroxide and electroconductive cobalt auxiliary through in an electroconductive base material, then the material is dried and formed through compression poly-N vinylacetamide is added to the paste, the electrode formed with compression is immersed in an alkaline solution and then dried by heating in an atmosphere of 16 to 30 vol.% in oxygen concentration. |
