PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deformation of a header tank under thermal stress at brazing. SOLUTION: At least, prior to brazing, a gapδis provided between a wall 227a of a step 227b and an end surface p1 in the longitudinal direction of a pipe material (p). Thus, even if the pipe material (p) expands thermally during the brazing process, the amount of thermal expansion is absorbed by the gapδ, relaxing the thermal stress that follows the thermal expansion of pipe material (p), to suppress the deformation of both header tanks 225 and 226.
