PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified structure for sealing the jacket by adopting a jacket chamber of a larger volume than that of a single chamber and making the number of sealing openings provided at the jacket smaller than the number of whole jacket chambers. SOLUTION: A plurality of jacket chambers are provided at the circumferential wall of the roller shell to seal thermal medium of two phases of gas and liquid inside. These jacket chambers are divided into plural groups along the circumferential direction of the roller shell and the jacket chambers within each group are linked by a linkage groove. A sealing opening is provided at each group for sealing the thermal medium. As the sealing opening can be made for each group, in less number than that of the jacket chamber.
