PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device capable of opening, closing, locking, or unlocking a door by merely operating handles. SOLUTION: An outer handle 3 and an inner handle 2 can be individually rotated respectively. An opening/closing cam transmitting the handle rotating motion to a bolt 4 comprises an outside opening/closing cam interlocked with the rotation in the prescribed direction of the outer handle 3 and an inside opening/closing cam interlocked with the rotation in the prescribed direction of the inner handle 2. A lock capable of constraining the rotating motion of the rotary shaft 6 of the outer handle 3 is operated by the motion of a lock cam rotated around its axis. The rotary shaft 5 of the inner handle 2 and the lock cam are connected so that the lock is set to a locked state when the inner handle 2 is rotated by the prescribed angle from the fixed position in an unlocked state and the lock is set to the unlocked state when the inner handle 2 is rotated by the prescribed angle in the opposite direction from the fixed position in the locked state.
