LIGHTENING PROTECTION COUPLER

PURPOSE: A lightening protection coupler is provided which has a lightening protection means to reduce the number of components of the coupler to decrease manufacturing cost and the number of processing steps and removes connections of various components to reduce noise and prevent deterioration in transmission reception sensitivity, generation of oscillation and passive mutual modulation distortion. CONSTITUTION: A lightening protection coupler includes a coupler body(10). An input port(21) and an output port(22) are formed at both sides of the coupler body. The input and output ports are connected to each other through an RF line(50). Coupling ports(32,31) for transmission and reception are formed on the outer surface of the coupler body. Each of the coupling ports is connected to a coupling bar(60). An earthing means(40) for discharging lightening is combined with the coupler body. The earthing means includes an earthing port formed at the coupler body. A ground bar(43) is placed inside the earthing port. One end of the ground bar is connected to the RF line and the other end is connected to a ground terminal(42).
