PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection/transmission complex type thin film transistor liquid crystal display device where a reflection film and a transmission film forming a pixel electrode are brought in stable contact with a source electrode. SOLUTION: The reflection/transmission complex type thin film transistor liquid crystal display device consists of a substrate, a thin film transistor formed on the substrate and adjusting a pixel, a protection film formed having a contact hole on the source area of the transistor, a transparent layer pixel electrode directly connected to the source electrode through the contact hole and a reflection layer pixel electrode directly connected to the source electrode through the contact hole, and a pixel area consists of a transmission area in which only the transparent layer pixel electrode exists and a reflection area in which the reflection layer pixel electrode exists.
