PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for giving contents protecting processing such as the prohibition of copying, picture caption prohibition, digital watermark insertion, etc., at need by intention of contents providing side concerning the contents displayed by a browser for displaying contents data by accessing a server through a network. SOLUTION: A contents display device provided with a contents display means for receiving and displaying contents data by accessing a contents server on the network is provided with an additional software module which is called from the contents display means when the received data is a special data type showing being contents data desired to receive contents protecting processing, and performs prescribed contents protecting processing. |
