PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device to wind a running cloth on a running roller to be used for the production of a liquid crystal substrate so that the structure is simple, the cost of the device is low, and the working process can be performed with easy operation in a short time. SOLUTION: The device for winding a cloth on a rubbing roller is equipped with a table, a pressing roller which is pivotally supported parallel to one side line of the table with the top of the roller in an almost equal level to the table face to be freely rotatable, an pivotally supporting frame supported as freely opened and closed by a supporting shaft parallel to the pressing roller, a pivotally supporting shaft and a pivotally suppurating rod attached to the same axis of the pivotally supporting frame to hold the rubbing roller, first and second height controlling means to determine the height and position of the pivotally supporting frame, and a retracting means to retract one of the height controlling means preceding the other or to retract its counter member. |
