PURPOSE: An apparatus for phase adjusting a design tap coil is provided which accurately maintains phase of the tap coil by changing the position of an offset roll using a forward and reverse rotational phase adjusting roll which is rotated by being contacted with the offset roll after accurately measuring position and transfer speed of the tap coil. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for phase adjusting a design tap coil comprises a pair of offset roll (30) and a backup roll which are oppositely directed for transferring a tap coil wound in a roll shape to a coating and design printing process; a phase adjusting roll (34) which is forward and reverse rotationally arranged by a roll axis (18) both ends of which are supported to supports (20,20'); a body (10) to the inside of which a phase adjuster (48) is mounted; a shaft assembly one end of which is linked to the roll axis (18) through a first york (12), other end of which is operatively connected to the phase adjuster (48) through a second york (16), and the center of which is coaxially linked to the upper part of the coupler (14); a roll rotating sensor (50) indirectly detecting phase of the phase adjusting roll (34) by detecting the phase of the first york (12); a transfer (46) which is installed at one side of the body (10) and operatively connected to the phase adjuster (48); a phase adjusting motor (40) operating the phase adjuster (48) by transferring a rotation force which is generated as being operated by supplying of an outer power source to the transfer (46) through a drive gear (42) and a driven gear (44); and a control unit outputting control signals to the phase adjusting motor (40) based on the signals that are inputted from the roll rotating sensor (50).
