The external rear view mirror is constructed, so that the blind angle on left and right-hand side of the vehicle not normally visible by the driver, is completely covered by two mirrors. One or more optical focusing lenses are integrated in the mirror glass, to cover the complete angles. The lenses may also be located inside the mirror housing, outside the glass. The mirror is suitable for all new vehicles, e.g. cars, heavy goods vehicles, busses, and motorcycles, and can also be mounted to older vehicles.
