<p>A method of detecting or quantifying environmental hormones (in particular, dioxins) in a sample with the use of granulosa cells, etc. In this method, changes in the expression dose of a luteinizing hormone receptor induced by follicle-stimulating hormone, etc. in the granulosa cells are employed as an indication for detecting or quantifying dioxins. A contraceptive method characterized by inhibiting the expression of luteinizing hormone receptor induced by follicle-stimulating hormone in granulosa cells; and contraceptive agents containing a substance inhibiting the expression of luteinizing hormone receptor as the active ingredient.</p> |
