<p>A televiewer pushes a predetermined button of a commander (21) to attempt to buy furniture (32) seen in a scene (31), such as a drama or movie, displayed on the screen of a television receiver (105). A remote control signal from the commander (21) reaches the receiver, and a description (33) of the furniture (32) appearing on the scene (31) is displayed. The televiewer determines whether to buy the furniture (32) based on the description (33). Upon deciding to buy the furniture (32), the televiewer pushes the purchase button of the commander (21) to send an electronic commerce company a purchase order for the furniture (32) together with the user ID. When the electronic commerce company accepts the order with the user ID, the television receiver displays information indicating that the purchase order has been accepted.</p> |
