The invention relates to a method and a device for treating (permeating and/or fusing) biological objects. Said biological objects are placed in an ambient medium and exposed to an electrical field produced by at least two electrodes for a predetermined pulse time (t1). During said pulse time (t1), each of the electrodes is activated at least once as an anode and at least once as a cathode so that the pH value of the electrolyte at each electrode alternately rises and falls, successively, these increases and decreases compensating each other.
