<p>A phase distributing section (307) distributes the quantity of phase rotation represented by feedback information transmitted from a communication terminal to antenna elements (312, 313). A signal representing the quantity of phase rotation of each antenna is delivered to a phase rotating sections (308, 309). The phase rotating sections (308, 309) each add a phase rotation to a transmission signal subjected to spectrum spread by an individual channel spreading section (306) using the quantity of phase rotation distributed by the phase distributing section (307). Transmission control sections (310, 311) convert the frequencies of the output signals from the phase rotating sections (308, 309) into radio frequencies, amplify them, and transmit the amplified signals from the antennas (312, 313), respectively.</p> |
