<p>A space profile determining section (102) determines the distribution of strength of the received signal with respect to the direction of arrival of a signal, namely, determines the space profile or space information by using the received signal before the spectrum despreading received through antenna elements (101-1 to 101-4). An arrival direction determining section (103) determines the direction of arrival of a signal transmitted from the communication party on the basis of the determined space information and outputs the information on the arrival direction to receiving units (104-1 to 104-4) while distributing it for each direction of arrival. A beam former (111) in each of the receiving units (104-1 to 104-4) rotates the phases of the received signals outputted from the antenna elements (101-1 to 101-4) by respective predetermined angles according to the information on the arrival direction and combines the received signals so as to increase the level of the received signals received from the direction of arrival.</p> |
