<p>A broadcast reception system (11) or display system (20) is combined with a computer (12). The reception system (11) includes a receiver (28) that is integrated with a computer (12), e.g. personal computer (12). The receiver (28) may be configured to receive analog FM signals and linked data (37) transmitted according to at least one of the RDS and MBS standards. The data (37) serves as a data trigger (37) to provide the user with a prompt on the computer system (12). The prompt may be utilized to access information related to the primary radio broadcast and previously stored at a memory location, such as a computer disk drive, CD (39) or floppy disk (40).</p> |
