The invention relates to a terminal which is configured for communicating using two different carrier frequencies with data carriers that operate in a contactless manner. The inventive terminal comprises two oscillatory circuit s (I, II) for one or the other carrier frequency. Each oscillatory circuit (I, II) operates with one or the same antenna (A) and operates with a separate capacitor (C1, C3). In the oscillatory circuit (II) for the low carrier frequency, a coupling inductance coil (L) is provided between the capacitor (C3) and the antenna (A).
