PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain discharging device for a showcase which is easy to be replaced or regulated by detecting the level of a drain, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The drain discharging device for the showcase comprises a water receiving tank 4, a showcase drain tube 3 for guiding the rain of the showcase 1 to the tank 4, a lower limit level sensor SL for detecting that the level of the tank 4 becomes a lower limit level, an upper limit level sensor SU for detecting that the level of the tank 4 reached an upper limit level, and a drain tube 10 for draining the drain stored in the tank 4 by a water pump 9. In this case, the sensors SU, SL and a ground electrode E are respectively constituted of electrodes B1, B2 and B3 engaged with stationary plates 15, 16 and 17 provided in the tank 4. The pump 9 is operated or stopped by the detection signals of the sensors SU, SL and the electrode E.
