The molding (10) has an inner layer (11) of rigid plastic and an outer layer (12) of electrically-conductive plastic at the visible exterior. In a first stage, in a pressure injection mold, a molding is made with at least two plastic layers (11, 12) in the form described. The conductive layer is employed when coating with the coloring substance. Preferred features: The electrically-conductive plastic contains graphite. The coloring substance is a metal and/or a powder color. The molding is produced using the mono-sandwich method, as a two- or multi layer molding. The molding is then coated electrostatically with color powder. It is alternatively electroplated with metal.
