AMORPHOUS, WHITE, FLAME-RETARDANT, UV-STABLE, THERMOFORMABLE FILM, A METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF AND THE USE OF THE SAME

The invention relates to an amorphous, white, flame-retardant, UV-stable, thermoformable film consisting of a thermoplastic, whose thickness ranges between 30 mu m and 1000 mu m. Said film contains at least one white pigment, in addition to at least one UV absorber, a flame-retardant agent and optionally a hydrolysis stabiliser, each of which can be dissolved in the thermoplastic. Said substances are introduced in the form of a masterbatch during the production of the film. Said film is characterised by excellent UV-stability, flame-retardant properties and optical characteristics, in addition to excellent thermoforming properties and is cost-effective to produce. The invention also relates to a method for producing said film and to the use thereof.
