The circuit has an electronic controller (4) influenced by two manual switches (2,3) and power switching elements (5,6) connected to the motor (1). The circuit contains bypass (8) and blocking (7) diodes arranged so that when one switching device is operated the associated power switching element inputs are connected to both poles (+,-) of the on-board supply and both inputs of the other power switching element are connected to one pole. Independent claims are also included for the following: the use of the circuit for motorized window or roof adjustment systems in motor vehicles.
