The collapsible luggage trolley is fitted with wheels (22, 23) mounted in wheel support brackets (19) which are located at each end of the suitcase support (12). This is provided with a support arm (15) fitted around one edge of the suitcase (11). an elongated belt (14) is used to hold the luggage in place, and has its two ends fastened to the wheel support brackets (19) near the ends of the suitcase (12). A belt collar (37) is pushed over the belt 14 to form a central loop (39) in the belt. The loop fits over the upper end of the multi-section trolley handle (13). The sections of the handle collapse telescopically inside each other so that the whole unit can be readily dismantled and stored. The carrier is lightweight and particularly useful for air travel. |
