PURPOSE: To obtain a Li20-Al2O3-SiO2-based crystallized glass having clarity and glass characteristics equal to or higher than those of conventional Li2O-Al2 O3-SiO2-based crystallized glass even if the amount of As2O3 used is reduced. CONSTITUTION: This Li20-Al2O3-SiO2-based crystallized glass has a composition of 60-75 wt.% of SiO2, 17-27 wt.% of Al2O3, 3-5 wt.% of Li2O, 0-0.9 wt.% of MgO, 0-0.9 wt.% of ZnO, 0.3-5 wt.% of BaO, 0-3 wt.% of Na2O, 0-3 wt.% of K2O, 0.0-4 wt.% of TiO2, 1-4 wt.% of ZrO2, 0-4 wt.% of P2O5, 0.05-2 wt.% of Sb2O3, 0-0.9 wt.% of MgO+ZnO and 0-4 wt.% of NCa2O+K2O.
