PURPOSE: An apparatus for sensing the weight in a microwave oven is provided to accurately sense the weight of food, regardless of the change of dielectric constant between an upper copper foil and a support bracket. CONSTITUTION: An upper copper foil(58) is formed on the upper side of a PCB(54), a lower copper foil(62) is formed on the lower side of the PCB(54) and the predetermined DC voltage is applied to the lower copper foil(62) through the PCB(54). A movable electrode plate(56) is screwed down at a support bracket(52) with a screw(60), which keeps a predetermined distance with the PCB(54).
