PURPOSE: A prompt lottery system and method on the Internet is provided to transparently and fairly manage an on-line prompt lottery by concretely opening the probability of prize winning to applicants, and by enabling somebody to verify the result. CONSTITUTION: An applicant performs a login to an event site(S11). In case that the applicant connects to the event site, rules for lottery are reported(S21). An application subject is displayed(S22). The applicant understands the rules and subject(S12). The applicant moves a mouse pointer to an application preparation area(S13). The event site displays a problem area of the subject to be provided to the applicant as a clue(S23). A limited time is measured(S24). Before the limited time passes, the applicant applies(S14). An answer area is displayed to the applicant(S26). An answer and applied contents of the applicant are displayed(S27). The applicant recognizes the result(S15). The applicant performs a logout(S16).
