INK TANK HAVING ABSORBING MEMBER USING ABSORBENT, INK SUPPLYING SYSTEM AND INK-JET RECORDING DEVICE

PURPOSE: An ink retaining container having an absorbing member using an absorbent, an ink supplying system and an ink jet recorder are provided to efficiently record ink jet by absorbing hydraulic material by absorbing member. CONSTITUTION: An absorbent(101) for an ink jet use is arranged in a position to be in contact with ink. The adsorbent has higher capability of absorption with respect to hydrophobic substance contained in the ink than a colorant. An ink-retaining container(100) comprises an ink-retaining portion for retaining the ink to be supplied to an ink jet head. An ink supply opening becomes an ink supply portion from the ink-retaining portion to the head. The ink-retaining container is provided with the adsorption member arranged in a position to be in contact wit the ink. With the adsorbent and the ink retaining container is arranged to perform ink jet recording with excellent print characteristics by effectively removing the hydrophobic substance eluted from the ink absorbent in the ink retaining container.
