PURPOSE: A semiconductor device is provided to solve bugs in a software, without having to correct a mask ROM(Read Only Memory) with respect to a microcomputer incorporating the mask ROM used in various electrical devices. CONSTITUTION: The microcomputer comprises a CPU(Central Processing Unit), a mask ROM, and a RAM(Read Access Memory). The RAM enabling overwrite further includes a first address having a first data and a second address having a second data. When a bug is found in first data, software bugs of the microcomputer can be corrected by rewriting the prescribed bit of second data.
