<p>Disclosed is a method of identifying the function of a test compound by contacting a plurality of cells with the test compound. The plurality includes at least a first cell and a second cell of a different type than the first cell type. Expression of one or more genes in cells of the plurality is measured. An alteration in the expression of the genes relative to the expression of said one or more genes in a reference cell reveals the function of said test compound.</p> |
