APPARATUS FOR MODIFYING SURFACE OF PLASTIC FILM CONTINUOUSLY

PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for modifying the surface of a plastic film continuously, which can improve adhesion between indium-tin oxide(ITO) and a PET substrate and mechanical strength and lower surface roughness. CONSTITUTION: The surface modifying apparatus comprises: a plasma device(10) for generating plasma, which has electrodes(11) for discharging the plasma by supplying high voltage and a cold water channel(12) for circulating cold water around the electrodes(11); a magnetic field generating device(20) having magnets(21) for increasing ion density of the plasma above the plasma device(10); an ultraviolet light source(22) for converting oxygen into ozone in the magnetic field generating device(20). The surface of the plastic film(1) is modified continuously by passing the plastic film(1) through a space between the plasma device(10) and the magnetic field generating device(20).
