PURPOSE: An excess flow shut off type gas breaker is provided to perfectly shut off the excess gas flow and to decrease the refilling time by forming a large hole on the shut off surface and to reduce the residual gas collecting time. CONSTITUTION: The excess flow shut off type gas breaker(100) comprises an excess gas flow shut off body(70), a hemisphere excess gas flow shut off surface(21), a conic excess gas flow shut off surface(22), gas outlets(40,41), a gas breaker shut off surface(20), an inside diameter type snap ring(80), a spring(50), a handle(10), and a gas breaker shut off surface pestle(30). If excess gas flow occurs, then the excess gas flow shut off body having the conic excess gas flow shut off surface and the hemisphere excess gas flow shut off surface inserted into the excess flow shut off type gas breaker moves toward the gas outlets by the difference between the gas pressure and the gas flow, which firstly shuts the gas outlet(40) off by the hemisphere excess gas flow shut off surface and secondly shuts the gas outlet(41) off by the conic excess gas flow shut off surface.
