PURPOSE: An apparatus for helping the Islam salah and its method are provided, to consider the residential city from the initial setting and to output the azan sound information in every salah time and the direction toward Mecca for allowing a user to attend the five salahs per a day exactly. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an input part(10) which is provided with a plurality of input keys to set the time, the date and the residential city for allowing a user to recognize the five salah time per a day by the output of azan sound information; a save part(30) where the information set by a user, the azan sound information and the direction toward Mecca are saved; an output part(40) which amplifies the azan sound information from the save part(30), outputs it by using an internal speaker and displays the praying time, the solar calendar, the present time, the direction toward Mecca, the count, etc. on the LCD; an electric power part(50) which supplies the power; and a control part(20) which controls the operation of the save part and the output part.
