KOREAN LANGUAGE INPUT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A Korean language input system is provided to enable a user to input a desired character without inputting an initial consonant-the medial-a final consonant by displaying similar or desired characters on a screen. CONSTITUTION: A Korean language input part comprises input keys for inputting an initial consonant, the medial, and final consonant and function keys. A syllable database part stores syllable information corresponding to the order of Korean language input signals. A syllable determining part searches the syllable database part to determine a Korean language syllable corresponding to the input signals. A display part displays the determined syllable/the initial consonant, the medial, and the final consonant. A control part controls an operation relationship of all constituents.
