PURPOSE: An apparatus for connecting a pipe is provided to enhance a sealing force by forming a protrusion at an inclined portion formed at a sealing ring and a screw portion and by compressing the sealing ring. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for connecting a pipe comprises a constriction nut(2) including a female screw(22) formed at inner circumference. An inclined portion(21) is formed at the front of the inner circumference of the female screw, and a plurality of protrusion(4) is formed at the inclined portion(21) to have a constant intervals. A sealing ring is provided with an inclined portion(31) including both of the inclined portion(21) of the constriction nut(2) and an inclined portion(13) of a connecting apparatus body(1). The sealing ring(3) is inserted at an outer circumference surface of a pipe(6). A packing(5) is inserted between the outer circumference surface of the pipe(6), a back end of the sealing ring(3) and the front end of the connecting apparatus body(1). A screw portion(11,12) is formed a female screw portion(22) of the constriction nut(2), and the constriction is coupled to the screw portion(11) of the connecting apparatus body(2).
