PURPOSE: A front lighting device for PDA is provided to increase the luminance of the display unit with a light guide panel having several square pyramid patterns. CONSTITUTION: The front lighting device comprises a light source(30), a light guide panel(40), and a reflective panel(34). Herein, the first and the second patterns(44,46) are formed on the light guide panel(40). Several consecutive square pyramids are formed as the first pattern, and several discrete square pyramids are formed as the second pattern. Both patterns(44,45) are orthogonal. |
