SINGLE BALANCED UP- CONVERSION MIXER

PURPOSE: A single balanced up- conversion mixer is provided to provide RF signal not including local oscillator signal by applying the IF signal from a balun to a differential amplifier circuit and the local oscillator signal to a current source. CONSTITUTION: The first balun(11) inputs the intermediate frequency signal and outputs the first and second local oscillating signals having 180° of phase difference. The current source(14) inputs the local oscillator signal. The differential amplifier circuit(13) is connected to the power supply through the first and second bias resistors(R1,R2) and differential amplifies the first and second local oscillating signals differentially. The second balun(12) is connected to the power supply through the first and second bias resistors and provides voltage difference between the first and second bias resistors with wireless frequency signal.
