DEAD-END CLAMP FOR AN ISULATED OVERHEAD CABLE, ESPECIALLY A BUNDLE-ASSEMBLED OVERHEAD CABLE

Dead-end clamp that can be used for multiconductor cable has wedge-shaped plastic parts disposed between metal plates of body, and cable conductor ends are secured in-between by means of clamping bolt. Thimble with elongated variable-length locking hole is spaced apart from both metal plates. Bracing strap made of stainless-steel wire carries on its ends thickened sections passed through locking hole only at their widest end. Sides of bracing strap are pressed to thimbles due to its inherent stress.
