PURPOSE: A colored glass prepared from ash is provided to protect eye strain and to be less tired of specific color while increasing transparency and beautiful color of the glass by utilizing ash as a ceramic material useable in production of glaze for ceramic wares. CONSTITUTION: The colored glass is obtained by a process comprising several steps of oxidizing raw materials such as ash from preparing a frame for comprises a first process of mixing and burning a material to be oxidized and a metallic oxide at ordinary temperature to prepare the first ash glaze; a second process of oxidizing the material to obtain ash, mixing it with the metallic oxide and burning the obtained mixture at high temperature of about 1,000 deg.C to produce the second metallic ash glaze; and a third process of directly burning the produced material at about 1,000 deg.C. to form the final metallic ash glaze product. The material to be oxidized and the metallic oxide or the ash and the metallic oxide should be blended in a specific ratio according to components of the ash, oxidation temperature, pH of ash solution, type and/or amount of metallic oxide and processing or calcining measures of ceramic wares.
