PURPOSE: A helper system for a PDA system using a character is provided to help an operation of a PDA by providing a helper being used in PDA to a user and linking a program and displaying information provided from the linked program to the user and suggesting a solution when a problem is generated. CONSTITUTION: An PDA(100) has a display unit displaying an image and provides information to a user and mounting a program inputted from the exterior. A helper(200) is installed at the PDA(100) and linked to the PDA(100) by a user's setting and provides information using a character, an image, and a voice to the user in accordance with an operation status of the linked program. A helper database stores the helper(200) and the helper related database. A trouble information database(400) stores trouble solving related information in accordance with status information of the PDA(100) or the linked program. A download server searches the helper(200) in the helper database and displays the helper(200) and provides the selected helper(200) if the user selects a specific helper. A trouble processing server(600) receives the status of the PDA(100) or the linked program and searches the status and provides a cause of the trouble and a solving method. |
