PURPOSE: A filter for air cleaner having humidifying function is provided to achieve an improved air cleaning and humidifying performance by increasing surface area of the water contained in the reservoir, while reducing maintenance cost by cleaning the filter through newly replaced water. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner comprises an air guide(12) for guiding the air sucked by a fan(19) and a motor(18) through a suction grille(11); a main body(10) having a coupling groove(13) and a support member(14) formed at the bottom of the main body; a cover(30) to be coupled to the main body through a screw, and which has a discharge pin(28) for generating anion from the power supplied to the main body and to a high voltage transformer(26) of the main body; a reservoir(40) arranged beneath the main body; and a filter(60) having a frame(61) with a support(62) to be mounted onto the reservoir, and an absorbing member(63) for absorbing the water contained in the reservoir. The filter is mounted on the top of the reservoir so as to filter the passing air for air cleaning and humidification.
