PURPOSE: A method for providing a document modifying service on the Internet and a recording medium being read by a computer and storing a program about the method are provided for an operator server to receive a document prepared by a foreign language from a client computer and calculate a service charge automatically in accordance with the number of characters included in the document and to transmit the charge to the client computer. CONSTITUTION: A client performs a member joining process to an operator site for receiving a document modifying service(S2). A web server receives information with respect to a kind of a modifying language, a kind of service providing time, a comments service selection or not, and a specific amender selection or not from the client for receiving the document modifying service(S4). An estimate server receives service kind selection information and decides a charge calculation method and calculates a service charge, and the web server transmits the calculating result to the client, and a DB server stores the result(S6). The web server receives payment information from the client and performs a payment to a payment institution server(S8). The web server selects a proper amender and transmits the modifying requested document and receives a modified document from the amender and transmits the document to the client(S10).
