PURPOSE: To enable the number of reference cell blocks connected in series to be selected arbitrarily, without being limited to odd numbers and a reference current to be set more finely. CONSTITUTION: A reference part 100 comprises a first reference cell block 101, which includes a virtual grounding conductor 130 and a second contact diffusion region 131, that is arranged under the virtual grounding conductor 130 and connected to it through the intermediary of a contact hole 139 and second reference cell blocks 102 to 107, which include a bit line 120 and first contact diffusion regions 121 to 124 and third contact diffusion regions 141 to 143, which are arranged under the bit line 120 and connected to it through the intermediary of a contact hole 130, as necessary.
