PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem where a conventional drinking cup made of metal using copper, iron or the like has high thermal conductivity, especially a lip may be burned when drinking hot coffer or the like, or outer shape decoration is limited and hence insipid. SOLUTION: In the closed-end cylindrical drinking cup with a drum part 1 and a bottom part 2 where an upper edge side is a lip 1a of cups, the drinking cup is made of titanium or a titanium alloy, at the same time the upper edge side of the lip 1a of cups is provided with a hollow part 3, and further the surface of the drinking cup is subjected to oxidation color development machining.
