<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article measuring device capable of fairly and accurately measuring specified items of articles. SOLUTION: In a first inspection range b1 of a measuring part (b) set on a transport conveyor 4, the front peripheral surfaces of fruits and vegetables A loaded on conveying bodies 5 are measured by grade measuring devices 22, 23 of an article measuring device 7 to determine the grade. In a second inspection range b2, the fruits and vegetables A are held by a pair of right and left holding bodies 27 for constituting a rotational device 40, and the fruits and vegetables A held by the holding bodies 27, 27 are reversed (approximately 180 deg.) to the approximately same height around the rotational centers B of the holding bodies 27 while being moved in the conveying direction. The back peripheral surfaces of the fruits and vegetables A are measured by a grade measuring device 24 to determine the grade, and the degree of saccharic acid is determined by measuring by a degree of saccharic acid measuring device 25. The fruits and vegetables A held by the holding bodies 27, 27 are rotated and restored (approximately 360 deg.) to the original direction and height while being moved in the conveying direction, holding by the holding bodies 27, 27 is released, and the fruits and vegetables are again loaded on the conveying bodies 5 and conveyed to the next process.</p> |
