PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compound selectively acting on a BZω3 receptor and useful as a treating agent and a preventing agent for central diseases such as anxiety-associated diseases, depression and epilepsy. SOLUTION: A 6-heteroarylpyrimidine derivative of the formula (wherein, X is O or NR4; R1 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl or the like; R2 is a lower alkyl, a (substitued) phenyl or the like; R3 and R4 are same to or different from each other, and each hydrogen or a lower alkyl; R5 is hydrogen, a halogen or the like; R6 is a (substituted) heteroaryl; A is a (substituted) phenyl or a (substituted) heteroaryl) or its physiologically permissible acid-addition salt, and a compound of the formula, and a drug composition containing a compound of the formula.
