PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic packaging apparatus for a pyramidal pack which can freely and easily seal many kinds of the pyramidal packs of different twist angle of upper and lower transverse seals by one apparatus by arbitrarily setting the angle of rotation and the rotational speed of a transverse sealing apparatus, and reduce the shock generated in the rotation and the stop of the transverse sealing apparatus by arbitrarily adjusting the curve of motion of the transverse sealing apparatus to increase the sealing speed. SOLUTION: The pyramidal pack FH with first and second transverse sealed portions FX and FY twisted at arbitrary angles by turning the transverse sealing apparatus 10 to achieve the transverse seal to a packaging film FA using a motor 14 which can be digitally controlled every time when the transverse seal is finished.
