PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work mounting device which is capable of easily and rapidly mounting works to rams. SOLUTION: The work mounting device A has a work supplying section A1 and a work mounting section A2 and the work mounting section A2 has work receiving sections 30a and 30b for longitudinally and laterally moving receiving bases 40a and 40b, ram branch holding parts 50a and 50b for reducing the spacing on the front end side of a pair of the ram branches of the rams to be installed on a ram installation base 70, a mounting stage for lifting the ram installation base 70, etc. The works supplied from parts feeders 20a and 20b are successively moved with the receiving bases 40a and 40b to a front end from a rear end, by which the works are successively housed in work receiving grooves 48a and 48b and thereafter the receiving bases 40a and 40b are brought near to each other in the state of reducing the spacings between the ram branches by the ram branch holding sections 50a and 50b, following which the ram branches are returned to the original state.
