PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for stitching a perform capable of easily conducting a stable stitching work. SOLUTION: The method for stitching the perform comprises the step of stitching yarn Y between reinforcing fiber layers (s). The method further comprises the steps of previously forming through holes h through the layers (s) just before a needle 1 for holding the yarn Y is passed through the layers (s), then inserting the needle through the holes h, and then stitching it. Thus, since a frictional resistance between the yarn Y and the layers (s) is largely reduced, stable stitching can be executed.
