摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum nitride porous material useful for electric and electronic parts and so on at a low cost, and to provide the sintered product of the aluminum nitride porous material. SOLUTION: This method for producing the aluminum nitride porous material, comprising preparing a plurality of aluminum source powdery materials which have different melting points and comprise aluminum and/or aluminum alloys, preparing the mixture of the aluminum source powdery materials so that the mixing ratio of the powdery material having the lowest melting point among the aluminum source powdery materials is 30 to 70 vol.%, molding the mixture, heating the molded product at a temperature melting only the powdery material having the lowest melting point in a nitrogen atmosphere to subject the molded product to the primary nitriding treatment, and further sequentially stepwisely nitriding the molded product at the melting points of aluminum source powdery materials having the low melting points. The method for producing the aluminum nitride sintered product, comprising preliminarily adding a combustion auxiliary to the aluminum source, producing the porous molded product, and then sintering the porous molded product.
